Nick Cannon on Red Table Talk coming to an end

The host of a number of popular shows, Nick Cannon is ecstatic as the Red Table Talk is coming to an end. The show got slashed speculatively because of Meta’s cost-cutting initiative. But Cannon sees it as a blessing in disguise as he had some strong opinions about the show which he shared in a segment of his own radio show The Daily Cannon. He claimed the talk show was the root of all evil, and blamed it for the 94th Oscar fiasco. According to the comedian, the slap that the audience witnessed at the Academy Awards stemmed from this very show.  America’s Got Talent host explained,

“If there was no ‘Red Table Talk,’ then he wouldn’t have slapped the sh*t out of Chris Rock,”

He then further continued saying,

“I don’t want to know all this sh*t about y’all.–I just want to mind my Black-owned business, I don’t want to be up in everybody else’s kitchen. Keep that sh*t to y’all selves.”

Cannon blamed the show for ruining the reputation of the once-it-couple of Hollywood just by appearing and discussing a very private matter in front of millions. Well, to be specific, there is one episode in particular that is to be blamed rather than the whole show for the moment that startled the world.

Why is Nick Cannon blaming the Red Table Talk?

The episode of Red Table Talk that took the world by storm and single-handled ruined the reputation of the show, the relationship of the couple Will Smith and Jada Smith, and also the Oscars for the audience discussed some pretty heavy topics. In 2020, the once-beloved couple of the Holywood sat down face-to-face on the talk show, and this is exactly where Jada Pinkett Smith decided to confess an “entanglement” she got tangled in with singer August Alsina.

Since then, the internet in various instances witnessed Jada Pinkett Smith demean Will Smith’s masculinity. Cannon also stated,

“Too much honesty can get your ass slapped in the face,–They made all them memes about my brother Will. They didn’t need to do that.”
