She revealed the information to Graceland archivist Angie Marchese, who shared it with the media. The 77-year-old actress said her ex-husband was a major fan of Southern cuisine.
She revealed, “He definitely was a creature of habit, so if it was made in the South…he liked it.” The late singer grew up on good old Southern food and loved dishes like meatloaf, mashed potato, fried chicken, and mac and cheese. While Presley was known for his peanut butter and banana sandwiches, his strange dinner request is recently revealed. The archivist revealed that the singer didn’t like fish or the smell of fish cooked in the house. He ate anything but fish, so the house never had any fish.
