Henry Cavill Tops Grindr’s Hottest Men of 2023 List
Ever since he stepped foot in the Hollywood entertainment industry in 2001 with a role in the film Lagoona, Henry Cavill has hardly ever missed a chance to impress his fans whether it is with his phenomenal acting skills or his attractive physical appearance. In fact, in all the years that he has been in show business, he has always been praised for his God-like physique.
From his role as Charles Brandon, the 1st Duke of Suffolk, in the Showtime series The Tudors to his portrayal of Superman in Zack Snyder’s Man of Steel, most of his roles demand him to be physically fit. This obviously gives him the upper hand at being one of the best-looking celebrities out there. Recently, he has made it to the top of the list of yet another list.
Henry Cavill has Been Voted as the Hottest Man by Grindr Users
There is competition everywhere, even in Hollywood. While the numerous award shows held each year see the competition between the performances of the best actors, some popular magazines publish lists of the top actors with the best faces or great physiques.
PEOPLE magazine has named Patrick Dempsey as the Sexiest Man Alive for 2023. However, in a recent X (formerly Twitter) post, it was revealed that Henry Cavill is unsurprisingly at the top of the list of the five hottest men according to the people who use the dating app Grindr. Cavill is followed by musicians Lil Nas X and Troye Sivan on the list of Grindr’s hottest men for the year.

The last two names on the aforementioned list are The Girl on the Train actor Luke Evans and Bridgerton Season 2 star Jonathan Bailey. While fans have been absolutely ecstatic to find Henry Cavill at the top of the list of the hottest men, they also do not seem too sure about Troye Sivan and Lil Nas X occupying the third and second places on the list respectively. On the other hand, they believe that Maestro actor Matt Bomer should have been on the list too. Maybe next time, he will be.
Henry Cavill Has Bid Adieu to His Role as DC’s Superman for Good
Around this time last year, Henry Cavill broke the devastating news that he won’t be returning as the DC superhero Superhero aka Clark Kent. It was a role for which he had gained international recognition so it definitely meant a lot to him. Letting fans know that he will no longer be a part of the franchise as that superhero was a saddening moment for him as well as his fans.
The Witcher star took to his Instagram in December 2022 to announce the news of him not returning. He wrote:
“I just had a meeting with James Gunn and Peter Safran, and it’s sad news, everyone. I will, after all, not be returning as Superman. After being told by the studio to announce my return back in October, prior to their hire, this news isn’t the easiest, but that’s life.”
Looking back at the performances of the DC movies released this year, the stars seem to be on Cavill’s side as it is quite uncertain what James Gunn’s DC Universe entails for the franchise. As upsetting as the news was at the time, it was probably for the best.
