Gal Gadot’s latest action film, Heart of Stone, has grappled the viewer’s attention with its nail-biting plot and power-packed action sequences. The film has the Wonder Woman actress in the role of butt-kicking intelligence operative Rachel Stone. It contains loads of impressive scenes that fascinated longtime stunt professional Jo McLaren. It is attractive to see the ease with which Gal Gadot has made the high-octane action sequences look like a piece of cake.
Heart of Stone Stunt Coordinator Jo McLaren on Taking Gal Gadot to New Heights
Heart of Stone is the latest Netflix movie with its lead actress Gal Gadot back in her action-packed roots. Directed by Tom Harper and boasting a screenplay by Greg Rucka and Allison Schroeder, the spy action thriller film movie is set to have our hearts pumping with its action scenes. The film sees Gal Gadot as Rachel Stone, a secret agent working for an A.I.-assisted global peacekeeping organization. Action sequences with near-death misses are a major highlight of the film.
In a recent interview with CBR, Heart of Stone’s Stunt Coordinator Jo McLaren shared his experience of working with Gal Gadot and said that her “execution of the action and her performance were just fantastic.” Further sharing the action that they got to do and the people he worked with, McLaren said, “I think the final product — I think it is something everyone involved is really proud of.” Heart of Stone is now streaming on Netflix.
Heart of Stone Ending Explained: Does Gal Gadot’s Rachel Survive?
Written by Greg Rucka and Allison Schroeder, directed by Tom Harper, and co-starring Jamie Dornan, Alia Bhatt, and Matthias Schweighöfer, Gal Gadot’s Heart of Stone has dropped on Netflix with viewers already making their way through the action-packed spy adventure.
Talking about the ending of the movie, this is evident that no one is what they seem in Heart of Stone. At the start of the film, we are led to believe that Parker will be Rachel’s love interest – he is a supportive friend and colleague leading the MI6 agency in which she is undercover.
But around mid-point, we see that Parker raises his gun to Rachel, and then slices Rachel with a poison-tipped knife, leaving her temporarily paralyzed on the streets of Lisbon. The film ends with Stone delivering a doll’s house to the daughter of a fallen friend.
Then meeting with Keya, a character who worked with Parker to bring The Charter down, but who changes sides at the end of the movie. In the end, Rachel is seen with her new team (made up of Keya and Jack of Hearts) on a mission.
