But he is more than simply a YouTube celebrity. He is also a generous and sincere humanitarian. MrBeast demonstrated his commitment to helping others in 2022 by donating a generous $3 million to support Ukrainian migrants.
He went even further by giving meals to almost 300,000 people in need through his humanitarian organization, Beast Philanthropy. However, Mr. Beast also had a terrifying experience when he learned that $2 million worth of his Bitcoin had been stolen from his home.
MrBeast does not keep his password hidden
It may be exciting yet risky to have money in the digital world, especially when it comes to cryptocurrencies. On the Flagrant podcast, a few months ago MrBeast whose real name is Jimmy Donaldson made a startling confession about how he managed his Bitcoin holdings. In comparison with the majority of the population who keep their passwords secure and hidden, MrBeast made a serious error by putting his private key on a piece of paper and leaving it on his laptop. It was that easy because the “Bitcoin private key” was written there in plain view.
MrBeast has previously advertised to his countless fans that he had a sizeable Bitcoin holding, valued at a stunning $2 million. When the value of the cryptocurrency rose sharply he initially put $100,000 into it. However, he sadly experienced a home robbery during which the criminal stole the laptop and other items.
When MrBeast learned that his laptop had also been stolen, he was completely taken aback. The password to access the $2 million worth of Bitcoin was right there in plain sight. When he thought about losing $2 million, which is a significant sum of money, he nearly started crying.
Luck was on Mr. Beast’s side
Having a lot of money may also be a real pain sometimes, don’t you think? One of the most renowned YouTubers, MrBeast, had a terrifying experience. He believed he had lost his $2 million worth of Bitcoin after being robbed. Mr. Beast referred to the thief as a moron and also said “He’s a f**king idiot” because it appeared that he was so preoccupied with stealing the television and the bedsheets that he completely missed the laptop’s password, which would have made the thief extremely wealthy. But thankfully, digital assets were secure, and Mr. Beast instantly transferred his Bitcoins.
