What is Jackie Chan’s Hidden Strike about?
In the upcoming action-comedy film, Hidden Strike, Jackie Chan and John Cena take the lead role. The duo plays two former special forces soldiers on a mission to guide some civilians across the appropriately named Highway of Death. The highway is presumed as one of the world’s most dangerous highways, which goes through Baghdad.
Chan and Cena’s characters will have to carefully deliver their civilian payload to the Green Zone while navigating a hostile environment filled with enemies, gunshots, and explosives.
Hidden Strike marks the first on-screen collaboration between the 49-year-old and the WWE star. The cast of the film includes Pilou Asbæk, Zhenwei Wang, Max Huang, Minghao Hou, Amadeus Serafini, Jun Gong, Li Ma, and Rachael Holoway. The film helmed by Scott Waugh, will release this month on streaming giant Netflix.
Hidden Strike will make its exclusive streaming debut on Netflix on July 28th, 2023.
