“His eyes, his hair, the hanging skin under his neck”: Elon Musk Accused of Splurging Ginormous Amounts of Money on Unnecessary Plastic Surgeries To Look Like the Ideal CEO
The CEO of Twitter, Elon Musk, is one of the most successful businessmen in the world. He is known for spending billions on his space projects and business acquisitions. Recently he spend $44 billion to acquire Twitter, after conducting a poll on the social media platform. Musk recently lost the top spot as the wealthiest person in the world. Earlier this month, the CEO and Chair of LVMH, Bernard Arnault, took over Elon Musk’s spot, making him the second richest person in the world.
Although he is one of the richest men in the world, the billionaire might also have certain insecurities. Recently, a plastic surgeon claimed that Musk has undergone multiple surgeries to alter his appearance.
Elon Musk Spends Thousands of Dollars on Plastic Surgeries
During an interview with The US Sun, a facial plastic surgeon, Dr. Richard Westreich, claimed that Elon Musk has undergone multiple procedures to alter his appearance. He shared that the billionaire has got some work done for “his hair, his eyes, and the hanging skin under his neck.”
The surgeon claimed that the Tesla CEO looked a bit odd earlier this year. “You could see the type of swelling that you’d get after undergoing a neck lift,” Dr. Westreich shared. He further added that he has recovered and his neck does not seem “to have the strange fullness” anymore.
Dr. Richard Westreich also shared an estimate of how much Musk must have spent on his surgeries. He shared that his neck lift could have cost around $60,000. The surgeon also shared that the Twitter CEO may have “dabbled in the under-eye filler,” which requires a fat transfer and it would have cost him $10,000.
This is not the first time the billionaire is accused of altering his appearance. Although he never addressed the subject, people have been discussing it for a while now, especially the changes in his hair and jawline.

Elon Musk’s Hair Transformation
Other than his neck and under-eyes, Elon Musk also had a hair transplant. At one point in time, the SpaceX founder lost almost half of his hair. Dr. Richard Westreich claimed that his “hairline looks to have changed at least four times over the years.” He claimed that he probably had undergone several hair plants.
He also said that this could have cost almost $40,000. Elon Musk gained a lot of weight around 2015. The American rapper and singer, Kanye West, also made fun of the Twitter CEO as he shared one of his images, in which he seemed overweight. However, over the years he managed to lose the weight.
The surgeon also mentioned the weight loss saying, “when aging is combined with this type of weight loss, the loose skin gets worse every year and creates skin laxity issues.” Explaining the surgery procedure, Dr. Westreich said that he may have had a procedure for the neck lift, in which excess skin and fat are removed from the neck, providing “a smoother, slim profile.”
The surgeon said that he may have some extra skin after losing weight and may have wanted a sharp jawline. He also claimed that losing weight and aging causes hollowness under the eyes. However, Musk does not seem to have hollow eyes. So he probably has got some work done there as well.
