Kim Kardashian’s Dress: “A Number of The Seams Are Pulled And Worn”
A dress sold at Julien’s Auctions in 2016 is the most expensive dress to be ever sold by the historical art company. They bought it for $4.8 million, making this the most expensive dress sold at any auction. The condition of the dress, as per the report, echoes:
A number of the seams are pulled and worn. This is not surprising given how delicate the material is. There is puckering at the back by the hooks and eyes.

Kim Didn’t Pay Anything To Wear The Ripley’s Dress
With all being said, as far as the commercials are concerned, Ripley’s echoed that:
Kim Kardashian did not pay Ripley’s Believe It or Not! to wear the dress, nor did the company pay her. Rather, Kardashian made a charitable donation to two charities in the greater Orlando area on behalf of the company.
The original dress was worn in 1962 by Monroe to celebrate John. F. Kennedy’s birthday.
