Beyond the glitz and glamour of the entertainment industry, the world is known to be much harsher and dirtier than one can possibly imagine, and Bebe Rexha has threatened to reveal exactly that if things don’t go her way.

Bebe Rexha stands no exception as despite having been actively working in the music industry for more than 10 years, she continues to struggle to make her big breakthrough into mainstream music. Recently, she went on a fiery rant about the industry on her official X account, and even threatened to spill her guts about what really goes on there.

Bebe Rexha gained recognition as a professional songwriter after signing with Warner Records in 2013, thanks to the success of Eminem’s single The Monster on which she had credits. She has written songs for numerous other artists such as Selena Gomez, Nick Jonas, and Shinee, among others.

Recently, she released a new single called I’m The Drama. All seemed to be going well until the musician took to X to rant about the industry she has been a part of for more than a decade. She claimed that she could bring the industry down by unveiling some of the nasty truths about the things she has been put through.

When a fan asked what had happened “again”, she stated that they barely knew anything. Another fan encouraged her to speak up, to which she replied saying that they punish those who do that. There is no telling what prompted her to go on this rant, but hopefully, she will find the courage to address her grievances if she has to.

Fans have also been supportive of her on this as they claimed that she deserves more recognition. Here is what some of them had to say:

Rexha released three extended plays before releasing her debut studio album Expectations (2018). She has also been successful through the collaborations she has had with artists like David Guetta, Martin Garrix, and G-Eazy. She has released two more studio albums with the last of them – her self-titled album – having been released in 2023.

Rexha is not the first artist to have spoken up about the toxic culture of the industry. In fact, this is not even the first time that she has publicly talked about it. In an interview with the Los Angeles Times in 2021, she was asked if the competition was toxic. She replied:

It’s the most toxic industry there is.

When asked why she took part in it if it was that bad, she said:

I don’t f— know. Because I like making music, and unfortunately I make music in L.A. And to work with the people I want to work with — people at the level they’re at — it’s like a game.

The I’m a Mess singer seems to have gotten fed up with this game as she seems to be planning to expose all the dark secrets buried in her closet.
