She admitted that she didn’t prepare her dad for what he would see, as their conversations typically revolved around father-daughter matters unrelated to work. To her surprise, her father decided to watch Euphoria without telling her, and her grandparents joined him.
“My dad and my grandpa turned it off and walked out,””Yeah, I didn’t prepare my dad…at all. I mean how do you bring up a conversation? Also, when I talk to my dad it’s usually not about work…we talk father-daughter conversations.”
Sweeney shared, highlighting their disapproval. However, she mentioned that her mother and grandmother have been more supportive, with her mother being prepared for the explicit scenes due to her frequent visits to the Euphoria set.

The actress revealed that internet users went so far as to take screenshots of her nude scenes and tag her family members on social media, a behavior she found “completely disgusting and unfair.”
