When they were walking the red carpet as a couple, they had a brief conversation with Vogue‘s André Leon Talley.
The editor-at-large in Vogue magazine asked the singer, “If you’re dressing interesting or sexy, which one will you go do when you go out of the house in the morning?”
To that, she replied while her new beau was standing alongside her, “I don’t really think in terms of interesting or sexy. [But] more in terms of what I’m doing that day. It always has to be interesting and sexy.”
The fashion journalist complimented her look stating, “Throwback to the old school, the elegance of the old [school]. I love it. You can wear anything you look fabulous.”
The actress wore a sky-blue Valentino gown while the former Yankees player opted for a classic Tom Ford tuxedo.
