Jennifer Lopez is an American singer, songwriter, actress, and businesswoman. She has been in the news for almost about a month since she married the Batman actor, Ben Affleck. The couple got married at a small church in Las Vegas and immediately fled to Paris for their mini-honeymoon. She took a dig and made some controversial statements about many stars including Salma Hayek, Cameron Diaz, Madonna, and Claire Danes. Needless to say, that interview marked the start of many beefs back in the day. However, it was her statement on Gwyneth Paltrow that made headlines the most.

When talking about the career of Seven‘s actress, J.Lo said, “I swear to God, I don’t remember anything she was in.” Gwyneth Paltrow dated Brad Pitt from 1994 to 1997, they were THE couple in Hollywood at that time. So, when asked about her take on Paltrow, the Let’s Get Loud singer said, “Some people get hot by association. I heard more about her and Brad Pitt than I ever heard about her work.”

An Oscar Award for a Response

In the same year, Paltrow starred in Shakespeare in Love and for her performance in the film, she won the Oscar Award for Best Actress the following year. Pretty sure that J.lo must have heard of her work by then. Anyway, there wasn’t any affair between the two after that. Paltrow went on to become a very successful actress since then. She even won an Emmy Award for her guest appearance in the series Glee in 2011.
