“I don’t think that’s funny”: Johnny Depp Accusing Amber Heard of Defecating on Bed Is Eerily Similar to Paul Rudd’s FRIENDS Storyline

Revealing dark secrets and personal information, the actor once accused Heard of defecating on his side of the bed after an argument.
Although the defamation trial was won by Johnny Depp, Amber Heard’s fans and several other netizens found the defecating accusation wildly similar to that of a television series. Considering it a direct ripoff from one of the episodes in FRIENDS, people are starting to wonder if Depp made up the situation just to embarrass Heard.
Johnny Depp Accused Amber Heard Of Defecating In Bed
Amid the ongoing court proceedings for Johnny Depp vs Amber Heard defamation trial, the actor testified about an incident, calling it “bizarre” and “grotesque”. Recalling a scenario by the end of their marriage, Depp accused Heard of leaving fecal matters on his side of the bed after an argument on the actress’ 30th birthday. According to Depp, during the argument, he brought up the topic of leaving her, which apparently pissed off Heard. Thus, she further went to defecate in the bed after the actor left for work.
Testifying to the court in Virginia, Johnny Depp claimed Amber Heard was responsible for the fecal matter in the bed. Adding on, he further stated how the actress denied the claims and blamed it on the dogs. Referring to the incident as “fecal delivery”, the 59-year-old actor stated, “I lived with those dogs for many years…That did not come from a dog. It just didn’t.”
Although Heard denied the claims stating, “I don’t think that’s funny. I don’t know what grown woman does that. I was not also in a pranking mood” Depp’s longtime chauffeur and security guard testified under oath, that the actress told him it was “a horrible practical joke gone wrong”. Although Depp failed to prove his accusation, Heard eventually lost the case.

Eerie Similarities Between The Accusation And FRIENDS Storyline
Months after the defamation trial, fans are still invested in the case, considering Amber Heard was blamed unnecessarily for things she didn’t do. Emotionally invested fans and netizens thus discovered eerie similarities between the defecation accusation to that of a FRIENDS episode. Considering the case absurd, people started digging into events and found it to be an exact ripoff of an episode from the TV series.
The same allegation was brought up by Paul Rudd against his former wife, except it happened in the show. In FRIENDS, Season 9 Episode 16, Paul Rudd who played Mike, confronted his girlfriend Phoebe Buffay (Lisa Kudrow) stating reasons why he’s unwilling to marry. Considering the trauma he faced after his former wife deliberately defecated at an absurd place other than the usual toilet, he was willing to stay a bachelor.
According to the conversation, Paul Rudd’s character claimed, “Look Phoebe, I love you but I never want to get married again…I lost faith in the whole idea.” To which Lisa Kudrow‘s character asked, “Was that really bad?”. That’s when Rudd stated, “At one point near the end, she deliberately defecated on…” Although Rudd was interrupted mid-sentence, Johnny Depp seems to have picked up the story thereafter.
After the wild discovery by fans and netizens surfaced, one can only wonder if Johnny Depp made up this story simply to humiliate Amber Heard.
