“I feel like I’m already doing it”: Miley Cyrus Wants To Play Godmother and Music Legend Dolly Parton in Hollywood Biopic
Miley Cyrus and Dolly Parton have been close for a long time. Parton is the godmother of Cyrus. She was chosen to be godmother because of her closeness with Billy Ray Cyrus. The young singer has previously worked with the 76 years old actress. She appeared on the 30-year-old singer’s show, Hannah Montana. Their Jolene debut made them famous, and they have performed it several times, including at the 2019 Grammy Awards.
In an interview, the Party in the U.S.A. singer talked about the way she tried to be famous, like her godmother. E-News recently asked the pop star possibility of her playing the role of Parton in a future biopic. Cyrus loves and adores the Coat of Many Colors singer and thinks she would absolutely do the role of her godmother.

Dolly Parton may get a biopic for her legendary performance, and there has been the name of Miley Cyrus popping up to play the role. Parton is the godmother of the singer, who comes from a musical background. Her father, Billy Ray Cyrus, became a one-hit wonder with Achy Breaky Heart. The 30-year-old singer has achieved success and collaborated with her godmother on various occasions.
When asked whether she will be interested in playing her godmother in a future biopic, the Wrecking Ball singer was delighted. Although she and the Islands in the Stream singer have never talked about it. The young singer said, “I’m sucked; I’m tucked and plucked, just like she taught me. Me and Dolly have never really spoken, honestly, about me playing Dolly because I feel like I’m already doing it.”
Cyrus admitted if she gets the role in the biopic adopting her godmother’s appearance would be too difficult. When asked about getting the physical appearance since the 76-year-old singer have a sizeable bust, the young singer said, “I don’t know what they’re gonna do to me.”
When the Midnight Sky singer’s love life was in turmoil in 2019, Parton offered some encouraging words to the younger artist. While there is no official news regarding the biopic, Cyrus could be a perfect choice to play the role of her godmother.

Miley Cyrus and Dolly Parton co-host New Year’s Eve Party
The When I Look at You singer along with her godmother is hosting the second annual Miley’s New Year’s Eve Party special. It will be streamed live on NBC from Miami. The show will air on Saturday, December 31, at 10:30 pm, ET and end at 12:30 am ET.
The party will have celebrity guests and musical performances. According to the promo, the party is about getting glammed up and dressing your best. Last year the singer co-hosted the New years eve party with Pete Davidson.
Fans can anticipate a fun-filled evening with many musical highlights and, hopefully, fewer wardrobe malfunctions just like during the celebrations from the previous year.
