Rita Ora makes heads turn at the Azzedine Alaïa show in Paris
Singer-actress Rita Ora stepped out in style to attend the Azzedine Alaïa show during Paris Fashion Week in a look from Alaïa’s Summer-Fall 2023 collection, which was a perfect salute to the fashion trends of the season; the naked dress.
Ora appeared on the red carpet in a sheer black dress with a high-necked, long-sleeved gown, pulling her hair in a slicked back ponytail and pairing it up with a strappy sliver-black platform heel. The singer wore just a pair of high-waisted black thong panties under her lace dress making the head turns on the red carpet.
Fifty Shades of Grey actress for her look decided to go for smokey eyes and pale pink lips, while opted not to accessorize with the jewelry. Ahead of the show, Ora shared a picture of her on her social media with the caption “On my way” and tagged the fashion house and Pieter Mulier, Creative Director of Alaïa.

During a cover shoot for Glamour Magazine, the singer mentioned that, just like everyone else, she also suffers from insecurities but they drive her to do more. She mentioned during an interview that her parents had never put pressure on her to do anything, so this overwhelming need to achieve and protect her family comes with in herself. Ora explained,
“Some people may not know just how much of a sacrifice I’ve made just to make sure my loved ones are OK. We weren’t the richest of the rich, but we weren’t the poorest of the poor. There was a middle ground of confusion – where my parents could take us shopping one day, but we couldn’t pay for it for school the next. I’ve always had that pressure of thinking, ‘If I don’t succeed, then will we go back to where we came from?’”
During the interview, at one point, Ora recalled that she went up to Jennifer Lopez to seek some advice on how to cope with the constant attention about her private life rather than her work, to which she explained that JLo kept going and ignored the noise but it made her think. On asked how she thinks that women are treated differently being she said,
“I’ve had it my whole career: having people judge what I wear, saying, ‘Is she too naked?’ Or, ‘Can she say things like that?’ I find it extremely misogynistic.”
She later credits her courage to be more experimental to Madonna and noted “Because she knew not everyone was going to agree with her. And she just did it anyway. I’m thanking her for that, because that’s given me the ability to be more outrageous, a bit more outlandish with things: how I dress, things I might say. I’m not perfect, but I think that’s what keeps my fans entertained the most.”
Rita Ora went Barbiecore at the London Pride
The singer who sizzled on the red carpet with her surprising outfit of the day for the fashion show had opted to go Barbiecore over the weekend as she performed at the London Pride. She donned an oversized pink leather trenchcoat with a matching cropped shirt and tie, pink sunglasses, fuchsia lipstick, and eyeshadow.
Rita Ora who is married to Marvel director Taiki Waititi has gotten attention before, most recently when she showed up at the British Fashion Awards’ red carpet in a completely transparent Nensi Dojaka creation that included a fiery red bra and matching thong. Ora had bleached her eyebrows and used unsettling mermaid-like facial prosthetics.
She then wore a sheer lace Rodarte outfit with nothing underneath but a pair of black panties to Netflix’s Golden Globes and Critics Choice Nominee Party in Los Angeles earlier this year. She accessorized with heart-shaped statement earrings and towering Christian Louboutin platforms.
