Kim Kardashian is apparently not the best celebrity to work for. The diva is reportedly a slob and throws tons of tantrums when things don’t go according to her all the time. The celebrity’s former personal assistant, Stephanie Shepherd opened up to the Daily Mail and revealed that working for Kim Kardashian is truly difficult. She even claimed that the SKKN founder did not let her date because of the job.
Kim Kardashian overworked her former assistant
The SKKN founder’s former assistant, Stephanie Shepherd revealed that the model overworked her all the time. According to her, during Kanye West and Kim Kardashian‘s wedding, she was exhausted due to all the work she had to do. The former assistant was running around throughout the event looking for Caitlyn Jenner’s suit and getting the Kardashian siblings ready. Due to this, she wasn’t even able to attend the wedding ceremony and was left unacknowledged. In an interview, she told:
“I was still relatively new back then. I remember just not sleeping that whole week, and then I came home and I got pulled over at Hollywood Boulevard, and I just started crying to the police officer, like, Please, I’m just exhausted, I gotta go home. You don’t understand”
Stephanie Shepherd admitted to the Daily Mail that working for the reality star is not glamorous at all. She claimed that Kim Kardashian takes being “demanding” to an extreme level. The former assistant acknowledged that her days were exhausting and she was forced to comply with unreasonable requests. She also claimed that she was so overworked that she did not even have time to date anyone for 2 years straight.
Kourtney Kardashian called out the SKKN founder
Stephanie Shepherd discussed her role as Kim Kardashian’s personal assistant with Kourtney Kardashian in a 2017 episode of Keeping Up With the Kardashians. She acknowledged that she was a little dissatisfied and that she did not want to be the model’s assistant indefinitely. Kourtney Kardashian told the SKIMS founder that Stephanie Shepherd just wants to evolve. She even taunted her, by asking if her assistant still helps her while packing for trips. The SKKN founder got extremely angry when she got to know that her former assistant talked to her sister about her job and labeled the act inappropriate.
Fans trolled Kim Kardashian for not treating her assistant well
Angry viewers took to the internet after watching the episode. “Lol Kim, assistants are still people. At the end of the day no one likes working for someone forever,” someone remarked. “Does Kim think Steph wants to be an assistant for the rest of her life??” asked another fan. “COME ON!! I don’t think Kim wanted to clean Paris Hilton’s closets for the rest of her life!” they continued. The Kardashian received a lot of backlash for being insensitive towards her assistant and overworking her.
