It would be understandable if Priscilla Presley needed some alone time to process the loss of her only daughter, who passed away just weeks earlier.
However, the illustrious ex-wife of Elvis Presley was performing a UK tour, which the King of Rock ‘n’ Roll was unable to do during his record-breaking musical career. At the weekend’s Glasgow City Hall performance, she talked about her first encounters with her ex-husband and their private nights together following their divorce.
The 77-year-old American actress and businesswoman looked stylish as she took the stage at Glasgow’s City Hall over the weekend in a figure-hugging sequined black dress.
“The house we lived in turned out to be a whorehouse,” claimed Priscilla Presley. “We lived on the first floor, but there were a lot of women that went back and forth upstairs with nighties on.”
Although the ex-couple developed an emotional bond right away, she insisted that there was no s*xual attraction until much later. “I was 14. He was 24 years old and he was always a gentleman with me. My relationship with Elvis was definitely not s*xual so he would tell me his fears, that he didn’t think he had a career.”
The couple got married in 1967 in Vegas, but got divorced six years later.
The music legend continued to secretly visit Priscilla Presley for a long time after they had officially broken up. “After we divorced, he would come to the house in the middle of the night even when he was dating other women and I still went to Graceland.”
She Claimed She Had ‘Never Betrayed’ Her Late Husband
Due to her relationship with Elvis Presley while still in her early teens, Priscilla Presley earned the moniker ‘child bride’. She claimed in her autobiography, Elvis and Me, that they didn’t have any s*x before they got married when she was 21. After getting married in 1967, the couple had their one and only child, Lisa Marie Presley, in 1968.
The mother of the late Lisa Marie Presley continued by admitting that she never betrayed her ex-husband. “I grew to love him so much as a young girl and I never ever betrayed him. I never told anyone that I was seeing him.”
Priscilla Presley is currently adjusting to the loss of her only child, Lisa Marie Presley. She had a cardiac arrest on January 12 at the age of just 54.
A disagreement over her will has developed between Priscilla Presley and Riley Keough, the daughter of the Lights Out singer and current star of the musical drama miniseries Daisy Jones & The Six.
