The American Gangster star was married twice, before tying the knot with Sabrina Dhowre in 2019. According to the actor, they share common goals and believe in making each other laugh and be happy.

Idris Elba was crowned the Sexiest Man Alive in 2018 by the reputed media outlet People. The 50-year-old actor is a definition of superstardom and great talent. During an interview with People, the actor spoke about his reaction to being crowned the title. Her said-
“I was like, ‘Come on, no way. Really? Looked in the mirror, and I checked myself out. I was like, ‘Yeah, you are kind of sexy today.’ But to be honest, it was just a nice feeling. It was a nice surprise — an ego boost for sure.”

“I was very tall and skinny. And my name was Idrissa Akuna Elba, okay? I got picked on a little bit. But as soon as I could grow a mustache, I was the coolest kid on the block. Grew a mustache, had some muscles, bonkers.”
