Ojani Noa Revealed That His Ex-Wife, Jennifer Lopez Never Returned The Engagement Ring
Ojani Noa used to be her first husband for a year as they married from 1997 to 1998. Despite their relationship being an intense chemistry, it was for quite a short while. During the time of their relationship, the former was a waiter at Gloria Emilio Estefan’s restaurant in Miami Beach. That was the very place he met his ex-wife.
While the reason for their separation was never disclosed, it was apparently due to the massive stardom the actress amassed at the time. In a recent interview with Sit Down show, he opened up about the reason why she never returned the engagement ring which was a sign of their marriage.
He shared,
“I told her, keep the ring, keep all the things I gave you, I didn’t want to remember those things that already happened.”
If he would have kept those things, he was “going to think about her, I was going to miss her.” In a last year’s interview with Daily Mail, he opened up about the cost of the ring which was considered to be a fortune back in the day. He shared that the ring cost $15,000 back then which he accumulated by working as a personal trainer and by modeling.
Ojani Noa Commented on Jennifer Lopez’s Marriage With Ben Affleck
Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez were romantically linked in the early 2000s. Their relationship was quite serious as they got engaged back then. Due to extreme media scrutiny, they called off their marriage plans and moved on in their life. This was quite a surprise to many when the pair reemerged in 2021 and became a power couple once again as they walked down the aisle together.
While the duo claims to have found their true love, Noa has different opinions on the same. He told the outlet,
“Ben is husband number four,” he said. ”I was husband number one and she told me I was the love of her life. When we lay in bed on our wedding night, she said we would be together forever.”
Due to his experience, he continued,
“I wish her and Ben the best, but I’m not convinced it will last.”
