Actress Jennifer Garner, well-known for her roles in popular movies like Juno and The Kingdom, has always been in the spotlight. Her high-profile divorce from Ben Affleck was a big story, and many fans are curious about what comes next. The two divorced back in 2015 after 10 years of marriage.

After her divorce from Ben Affleck in 2015, an insider once told Closer (via Female First) that Jennifer Garner wasn’t interested in dating right away. She even admitted that this wasn’t how she planned things for herself and her kids.

Instead of rushing into new relationships, the actress reportedly declined dating set-ups from friends. Her focus was on healing and taking care of her family during this difficult time. According to US Weekly, the 52-year-old said:

I would not have chosen this life for myself or my kids. I would not choose to be single or be in this position. It’s something that we are working through. I haven’t been on a date and I am not interested in dating. People want to set me up and I am just like, ‘No, thank you!

It means she’s happy with her life as it is and isn’t looking to get married anytime soon. Although Garner wasn’t interested in dating at first, there have been reports that she’s been seeing businessman John Miller since 2018.

Jennifer Garner reportedly found therapy helpful in dealing with the emotional side of her split. “I went to work on it. I started therapy,” the Texas native told Parade. This, combined with her commitment to co-parenting with Ben Affleck, has created a positive environment for their kids. So, despite the challenges, the ex-duo still comes together for holidays like Thanksgiving.

The Caped Crusader actor has been open about his battles with addiction. He also faced intense public pressure along the way. But through it all, he has had a strong supporter by his side: his ex-wife Jennifer Garner. Another source told Life & Style that she has been a constant source of strength for Affleck, even during difficult times:

His addictions were worse than anyone knows. Jen’s explained how she had to deal with Ben during benders and blackouts and plenty of ugly arguments. Some pretty incomprehensible stuff. Jen couldn’t just walk away. Not until he was better.

There are also reports that she is also helping the Good Will Hunting star through his split from JLo. Garner, too, of course, has faced challenges recently, but she said they’ve made her stronger. “I’ve learned that I’m pretty sturdy,” Jenny told People. She’s enjoying her independence and feels confident raising her children on her own.
