The Ice Spice album Y2K is just around the corner, and word is that it might feature Taylor Swift in one of the songs! Both Swifties and Ice Spice fans (Munchkins) consider it the best news so far. Both stars were seen together in Taylor Swift’s ‘Karma Remix’ video.

Ice Spice started her career in 2021 with record producer RIOTUSA, and as a result, she made her debut with the song ‘Bully’, released in the same year. The rapper’s collab with Swift is what made her a featured artist on Billboard, and that’s how she also got her first Billboard Hot 100 No. 

Ice Spice never did a favor to Taylor Swift

ET interviewed Ice Spice and asked if she did a favor to Taylor Swift by doing the ‘KARMA’ collab with her. The rapper very cleverly said that it was Swift who did a favor to her. Ice Spice, being a huge Taylor fan, approached her, but it turned out it was Taylor Swift who was a fan of Ice Spice.

According to ET, Taylor Swift listened to Ice Spice’s ‘Nonstop’ during her Eras Tour; she listened to her constantly. She further revealed that, 

So I immediately got her number and said, Hey do you wanna do your version of Karma ? Do you relate to this ?

And as a result, she immediately said yes! Although the song was featured on the Billboard Hot 100, it got mixed reactions from fans. Many people did not like Taylor Swift’s version of the song. 

During the interview, the rapper signaled for another collaboration with Swift, which might be next in line and could be featured in her next album.

During the interview with ET, Spice also revealed that she was born on January 1st, 2000, and the album’s name is based on her birth year. She also considered the album her firstborn and jokingly said,

I am giving birth on July 26

The rapper also gave hints about other future collaborations and said, “There’s a couple, that’s all I can say.”  Ice Spice and Taylor were also seen together enjoying the 2024 Super Bowl, along with Blake Lively.
