While many big names have been thrown around as contenders for the role, including John Boyega and Tom Hardy, and former Superman Henry Cavill but it’s Aaron Taylor-Johnson may be the next actor for the missing character.

The 32-year-old former Avengers co-star, Chris Evans, recently spoke highly of him in a recent interview with the 34-year-old stating that, “I’m a big Aaron Taylor-Johnson guy” and believes he would make a great Bond.

And it seems that the producers of the franchise agreement, as reports have emerged that Taylor-Johnson met with James Bond producer Barbara Broccoli to discuss taking over the role.

According to sources, Johnson fulfills every requirement for the team’s ideal replacement for Bond, and as the only Savages player, he would be able to take on the position for many years to come.

And with his recent performance in Bullet Train showcasing his ability to play a reserved and smooth character, he’s a strong contender to take on the suave and savvy character of James Bond.

While there’s no official word on when an announcement will be made or when the next Bond movie will hit theaters.
