After the colossal success of Dune Part One in 2021, fans cannot wait for the second chapter of the Dilen Villeneuve-led fantasy drama’s theatrical release. His remarkable filmography needs no introduction in Hollywood. Villeneuve has been the brain behind shows like Incendies, Enemy, Sicario, and Maelstrom. He was supposed to direct Jake Gyllenhaal-led HBO’s limited series Son, but he believes that he is incapable of tackling the project.

However, fans believe that the colossal success of Dune: Part Two would force Denis Villeneuve to step back from the world of television. Fans took to social media and reacted to Denis Villeneuve’s decision to step back. An X user even mentioned-

The Arrival filmmaker was also compared to Christopher Nolan. Fans believe that he is walking in the footsteps of the legendary director and will end up developing a strong mass following.

Director Denis Villeneuve Believes Dune Part Two Is Better Than Dune First Chapter

During the promotion of Dune: Part Two, director Denis Villeneuve spoke about his upcoming project. While talking about the movie during an interview with Variety, the Arrival filmmaker mentioned that the second installment of Dune is much better than the first installment of the fantasy drama. He said-

Reputed names from Hollywood include Josh Brolin, Zendaya, Timothée Chalamet, Dave Bautista, Rebecca Ferguson, Charlotte Rampling, Stellan Skarsgård, Austin Butler, and Florence Pugh would be seen in Dune: Part Two.

Dune: Part Two will be released on March 1, 2024.
