Back in March 2022, the world was shocked when actor Will Smith went up the stage during the 2022 Oscars and slapped comedian Chris Rock for making a joke about his wife, Jada Pinkett Smith. For a very long time, the comedian remained quiet about it but recently he addressed the entire incident in his comedy special, Chris Rock: Selective Outrage, which is released on Netflix.

For about 10 minutes, the comedian only talked about how he is not the victim and pointed out Jada Pinkett Smith’s infidelity and the actor let out that anger on him.

Comedian Chris Rock‘s latest comedy special, Chris Rock: Selective Outrage, was released on Netflix on 4th March 2023. In the special, he talked about the famous Oscars incident when actor Will Smith went up the stage and slapped him for making a joke about Smith’s wife, Jada Pinkett Smith. He said in the special,

“Y’all know what happened to me. Getting smacked by Suge Smith. Everybody knows. Everybody f**kin’ knows… I got smacked at the Oscars by this motherf****r and people are like, ‘Did it hurt?’ It still hurts! I got ‘Summertime’ ringin’ in my ears! But I’m not a victim, baby. You will never see me on Oprah or Gayle crying. You will never see it. It’s never gonna happen. No. f**k that shit. I took that hit like Pacquiao, motherf****r. I took it like motherf****r Pacquiao, OK? Shit, man. Did it hurt? Yeah, motherf****r. It hurt.”

Apart from this, the comedian talked about several other things like the hypocrisy of “woke” businesses, Meghan Markle, the Kardashians, abortion, and Elon Musk’s body.

The comedian further talked about the viral Red Table Talk interview where Jada Pinkett Smith spoke with her husband about her affair with the singer August Alsina. He said,

“And for people that don’t know… Will Smith’s wife was f**king her son’s friend. Now, I normally would not talk about this shit, but for some reason, these n****s put that shit on the internet. I have no idea why two talented people would do something that low-down. What the f**k? We’ve all been cheated on – everybody in here has been cheated on – none of us have been interviewed by the person that cheated on us on television. None of us! ‘Hey, I was sucking somebody else’s d**k. How did that make you feel?'”

He then wondered why the actor took out his anger on him when he had nothing to do with the affair.
