However, he was released earlier this month. Tate was active on Twitter when he was in prison as he gave updates about his health. Now, he is out and has returned to his true, real self. He posted a tweet on Twitter claiming that he doesn’t know what singer Shakira looks like. The influencer implied that the Colombian singer’s face is forgettable and isn’t really special.
Andrew Tate said he doesn’t know what Shakira looks like
Influencer Andrew Tate has once again decided to give his unsolicited opinions. The former kickboxer and internet personality has claimed in his recent tweet that he does not know what singer Shakira looks like. He wrote,
“I’ve seen her face 10,000 times but for some reason I’m not sure what Shakira looks like. / I know that sounds strange. / I feel like I could walk past her on the street and not recognise her at all.”
Shakira’s fans could only interpret one thing from this tweet: That Tate is saying that she has a forgettable face and no one would recognize the superstar.

The internet personality went to prison
Back in December 2022, while everyone was welcoming 2023, Andrew Tate was welcomed into a Romanian prison. The influencer and his brother, Tristan Tate were arrested in Bucharest, Romania on suspicion of r*pe and human trafficking. How did the Romanian police find them? The authorities were able to track him down after they spotted pizza boxes in the background of one of his videos.
All of Tate’s assets were seized by the police and both brothers denied all the charges at the time. However, his days behind the bars finally came to an end recently as he was released from the Romanian prison but he and his brother will still be under house arrest in the country until 29 April 2023.
