Invincible Season 3: 5 New Characters That Fans Can Expect to See in Prime Video’s Ultra Violent Series Including a Robin Rip-Off
The best part about watching a show or a movie based on comic books is the thrill of watching the process of adaptation. While we have a certain image of the characters from their dialogues and drawing from the comic books, on-screen projects always surprise fans by infusing a new life into their favorite characters.
With Invincible poised to return with season 3 soon enough, fans have begun speculating which new faces could be introduced into the powerful world of Mark Grayson and Omni-Man. Created by Robert Kirkman, the show has garnered glowing reviews from fans and critics alike. Let’s take a look at five new characters that we can expect to be introduced to in Amazon Prime Video’s animated show Invincible.
Thragg
It might be too soon for the rand Regent Of The Viltrumites to make an appearance in Invincible season 3, but it could be just the recipe for success for the show. Fans have patiently waited for the story to finally come into its essence and present the ultra-violence the comics promise.
Thragg is the head of the Viltrumite empire and the ultimate villain of the Invincible storyline. Needless to say, as the Grand Regent, he is the strongest Viltrumite to face Grayson and his powers go beyond comparison. He is truly a spine-chilling threat to the world with his ever-evolving evil plans and unparalleled physical strength. He is forced to fight Grayson alone after the other lesser-powerful Viltrumites fail to curb Invincible.
Conquest
After Angstrom Levy’s multiversal epic fight with Mark Grayson, fans can’t help but be excited about the setup of the Invincible War storyline where Grayson has to face his alternate dimension versions. However, an aspect more thrilling than this arc is the entry of Conquest onto the scene. In the comics, we see Grayson take on the menacing Viltrumite villain after he is done defeating the alternate dimension army of himself.
Their first encounter is deadly as they fly at super speeds across various locations. Since season 2 has already hinted at a bigger role played by the evil Viltrumites, Conquest’s introduction in season 3 will be a welcome addition.
Wolf-Man
As popular as the character of Wolf-Man got, he received his own solo comic book story. Nonetheless, his role in the conflict between Invincible and Cecil cannot be overlooked. On Cecil’s orders, various superheroes search for Wolf-Man to capture him and stop him from wreaking havoc.
Mark Grayson, on the other hand, knows the truth behind Wolf-Man’s personality and trusts his good nature. This creates a rift between Grayson and Cecil, leading to the former leaving the Global Defense Agency. His inclusion in season 3 of Invincible will eventually make for an interesting turn of events.
Multi-Paul
A brother seldom stays silent after his sister is murdered. While we saw Dupli-Kate die in season 2 of Invincible, her brother Multi-Paul’s entry was forayed into the narrative. The angry brother is on the path to revenge as he fights the Guardians of the Globe. Both siblings have the power to create multiple clones of themselves and deflect major threats.
Each of their clones is capable of thinking and behaving like a human. They are all connected though, with everyone feeling the kick to the stomach when one receives it somewhere in the world. Hailed as a more fun villain than a deadly villain, it will be fun to see him avenge his twin sister.
Kid Omni-Man
We met Grayson’s cute baby brother Oliver in Invincible Season 2, but he barely had any contribution to the storyline. If anything, he slowed Grayson down since the hero had to come to the infant’s rescue. However, in season 3, we will surely witness Oliver grow up to become Kid Omni-Man. He chooses this name to pay homage to his father who has been misunderstood by the world.
His outfit consisting of red tights and a black eye mask makes fans reminisce about Robin, the beloved sidekick from DC. But Oliver’s powers are different as he decides to use them for good and be a superhero like his brother. He begins his supposed training by accompanying Grayson on fights, but he eventually goes on to find his own identity as a superhero.
