The actress and singer is accused of blackfishing for profit. Blackfishing is a form of racebending. It is used to describe non-black people who use makeup, tanning, and hairstyling to get the appearance of Black or mixed race.

In the recent video shared by the Die For You fame, she is seen in a casual a look with no makeup and styling. In the video, Grande told the fans to be more gentle and less comfortable in judging her and other people’s looks. The situation occurred when her fans pointed out her weight loss and made comparisons to her earlier looks. The actress shared that she wishes to address concerns as her body is paid close attention to by people.
Grande shared that her earlier body, which looked amazing according to fans, was the unhealthiest version of herself. She shared,
“I was on a lot of antidepressants and drinking on them and eating poorly and at the lowest point of my life when I looked the way you consider my health, but that in fact wasn’t my healthy.
I know I shouldn’t have to explain that, but I do feel like maybe having an openness and some sort of vulnerability here will [mean] something good might come from it. I don’t know but that’s the first thing. Healthy can look different.”
Ariana Grande also talked about being sensitive about body shaming anyone. She said,
“Even if you are coming from a loving place and a caring place, that person probably is working on it or has a support system that they are working on it with.”
The Into You singer said that we do not know if someone has gone through something which may have led to physical changes. She requested people try to be more sensitive.
