Ariana Grande And Other Hollywood Celebrities Who Have Been Body-Shamed

As actors and artists, they are always expected to be perfect. They have to pay a price for crossing the lines of societal beauty standards. However, they are the worst victims of body shaming. They are trolled and criticized for gaining weight or being too skinny. Over the years, celebrities have also spoken about their bad mental and physical health. Reputed celebrities like Gigi Hadid, Kim Kardashian, Ariana Grande, Selena Gomez, Serena Williams, and Tyra Banks have been body shamed.

When an Instagram user had tried to make fun of the Kidney transplant scar, Selena Gomez went and responded to the hater as-

“The beauty myth: an obsession with physical perfection that traps [the] modern woman in an endless cycle of hopelessness, self consciousness, and self-hatred as she tries to fulfill society’s impossible definition of flawless beauty,” said the Calm Down singer. “I chose to take care of myself because I want to, not to prove anything to anyone. Wind in her sails.”
