But after Lively filed a lawsuit against Justin Baldoni and his production company alleging that she was subjected to s*xual harassment on set. She also claimed that the actor-director hired a PR firm to start a smear campaign against her. Justin Baldoni, on the other hand, has denied all the allegations brought against him and filed a $250 million lawsuit against The New York Times. He alleges that the publication reported the news without proper fact-checking. The actor later filed a $400 million lawsuit against the actress and her husband, Ryan Reynolds, claiming defamation, extortion, and more. The author shared back in 2024 with People that she hadn’t written at all and felt a lot of guilt for that. She also added that she has been extremely busy and her mind has been all over the place.

And so I just try to remember that it’s been working so far for this long. You’re done. It’ll come. Your brain’s busy right now.
The author finally continued that she feels the need to write and forego sleep and eat and speak to anyone and just get the book out.
Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni are heading for trial
USA Today reported that Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni’s scandal-turned-legal drama started last year and is heading for a trial after a New York judge ordered it. Judge Lewis J. Liman has set the trial date for them as March 9, 2026, and has ordered both parties to submit case management plans.
In a recent update, according SMH a leaked voice note that the actor-director sent to the actress, he can be heard apologizing to Lively after they discussed the changes she made to the scene in the movie. He can be heard saying,
