This year Harry Styles decided to be with his family for the holidays. After having a successful touring year, he seems to be enjoying “family time” back in his hometown. Also, he parted ways with Olivia Wilde only a month ago after about two years of dating. However, reportedly the decision was mutual and no one’s feelings got hurt. Moreover, the relationship was the longest of its kind for the singer. And therefore he shares a special bond with Wilde despite separating according to an insider source. The Sign of the Times singer not only had a good year in terms of his career but also lots of learning.
Harry Styles Spent Christmas With His Family This Year
Following a successful tour year, Harry Styles spent the Christmas holidays back at his home in the UK. A recent picture shared by his mom, Anne Twist on Instagram showed her on an outing with her two kids. Clearly, the Watermelon Sugar hitmaker has been having a good time with his family. His mom captioned the picture with “Christmas 2022″. However, it was already hinted by his older sister Gemma Styles when she commented “it’s Christmaaaaaaaaaaas” under one of the singer’s Instagram posts some time ago.
Although the One Direction alum has not posted any Christmas pictures himself, his mother has offered a good glimpse for the fans. Moreover, previously he posted that he had been grateful for this year. He shared that this year had “changed” him. And added,
“I can’t begin to thank all of you who supported me through it, I’ll never forget it. I hope your end of year is filled with happiness and calm. Love you all. See you next year. H.”
All of this suggests the singer has had a good year and is spending time with his family for the holidays. And it seems he has not been affected by the end of his two-year-long relationship with Olivia Wilde. The singer’s new movie Don’t Worry Darling was also released this year.
Why Did the Relationship Come To an End?
A month ago, Page Six confirmed that Harry Styles and Olivia Wilde had called it quits after two years of dating. They first met on the sets of the 2022 psychological thriller Don’t Worry Darling. It is directed by Wilde and she also acted in the movie. Their romance could not last long however due to conflicting schedules. According to an insider,
“They’re on a break. It’s impossible to have a relationship when he’s in every continent next year and Olivia has her job and her kids”
The problem of long-distance romance eventually found its way into their relationship. But it was the longest of all the relationships that Styles has been in. And their break-up was mutual and no one was hurt. The insider shared with Page Six, “There is no bad blood between them. Harry didn’t dump Olivia or vice versa”. Wilde shares two kids aged 8 and 6 with her ex-fiance Jason Sudeikis.
But there was news that the actress-director is not taking the break up so well. And that could be the reason that Harry Styles decided to spend Christmas away from the drama, with his family. There is word that the director has been trying to get back with the singer and he just wanted to get away.
