Ultimately, the Oscar-winning actress while mourning over the potential relationship found her closure.

Meeting on the set of Speed (1994), Sandra Bullock and Keanu Reeves became good friends. Initially starting their friendship, being perplexed by each other, Reeves and Bullock eventually came close. The film became a hit with a 94% RT rating, and fans rejoiced at the ending kiss shared by Reeves and Bullock. Witnessing their on-screen chemistry, fans wished for the pair to be a real-life couple, only to learn years later, how the two missed their opportunities of being with each other.

A few years back in interviews and talk shows, Reeves and Bullock appearing separately confessed their crush on each other. Ever since then, neither fans nor the actors can get over the possibility of Keanu Reeves and Sandra Bullock‘s potential relationship. In an interview with Esquire, Bullock confirmed, she never dated the John Wick actor. However, teased the audience starting, “But who knows?” Further mentioning the possibility of dating Reeves, Sandra Bullock finally reached her closure. The Oscar-winning actress is now ready to bury the rumors and get over the missed opportunity.

Keanu Reeves Left Sandra Bullock Confused

It seems Sandra Bullock had to find her closure, especially after being confused by Keanu Reeves over the years. Speaking with Esquire, the actress shared an incident that took place while filming Speed. Bullock recalled the moment when she mentioned to Reeves how she never tried Champaign and truffles. Although the Matrix actor took the information casually at that time, he later visited Bullock at her home with Champaign, truffles, and flowers in hand. He explained to Bullock, “I just thought you might want to try Champagne and truffles, to see what it’s like.”

After allowing Bullock the pleasure of enjoying something she never had, Reeves eventually left the Bird Box actress’ house to go on a date with another woman. Being confused to the core with Reeves’ generosity the actress shared with the magazine, “That’s what I mean that it drives you crazy.” Evidently, Sandra Bullock never wanted to misunderstand Keanu Reeves‘ generosity and kindness as a way of impressing and winning her. Despite being desperate to date him, Bullock waited for the John Wick actor to express, but shy and nervous Reeves instead of being straightforward ended up confusing the actress even more. 

The saddest part about their potential relationship is, both came forward years later to confess their feelings but not to each other. Sandra Bullock and Keanu Reeves could have been the power couple of Hollywood, but they gave it up, all for nothing.
