“It hurt my feelings”: Jennifer Lopez’s Kids Avoid The Pop Star in The Public Prefer to Stay Away From Their Mother
When it comes to famous parents, children in some cases, have a hard time dealing with all the attention from the paparazzi. This seems to be very true for Jennifer Lopez’s kids. And she seems to understand the emotional effect it has on them. Moreover, in addition to the paparazzi, her children as well as Ben Affleck are in the process of adjusting to their new family life.
After the two tied the knot last year, the decision for them was to live together with all of their children from their previous marriage under one roof. And as far as it is concerned, they seem to be getting along fine.
Jennifer Lopez’s Children Do Not Like To Go Outside With Her
It is no question that celebrities will be chased by cameras everywhere and anytime. And sometimes it can extend to people close to them like their friends or family members who are just trying to live normally. Therefore fame in this regard can be a big disadvantage, especially for children. And this seems to be what exactly Jennifer Lopez’s children Emme and Maximilian have been facing.

Talking with Vogue last year (2022), she opened up about what she felt about the whole matter. According to Lopez, her children disliked going out with her for the obvious reason, that cameras followed them whenever their celebrity mother was with them.
Lopez shared about the time one of her kids specifically told her that they did not want her or Affleck to go out shopping with them.
Sharing this the singer said,
“It hurt my feelings. I get it,”
Furthermore, J-Lo added that there was no complaint against the paparazzi but their children naturally liked their time with their friends without the attention.

From their previous marriage, both Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck have their own set of kids. The Argo star has three kids with his ex-wife Jennifer Garner while Lopez has two kids (twins) Emme and Maximillian (15) with her ex-husband Marc Anthony. And Bennifer’s reunion last year has made it necessary for all of them together under one roof as that’s what JLo and Affleck seem to want.
The Ain’t Your Mama singer once opened up that she desired her children to feel an ally in Affleck as well as his children to feel the same toward her. And according to her even though the children were all in their teens, she shared that things were going well between all of them.
