“It sometimes could be very confusing”: Emilia Clarke Regrets ‘Wasting’ Her 20s on Game of Thrones despite Earning Millions and Superstardom from Her Role

It’s been a few years since we got to see HBO’s Game of Thrones TV series made its way to release, and today also, we have many fans who still praise the plot as well as the performance set by the cast in the series. 

The whole cast got popular after the release of the new HBO series, but it looks like the lady Hollywood star, Emilia Clarke isn’t really happy spending her adulthood shooting for the series. 

Emilia Clarke Opens Up About Disappointment in Spending Her 20s on Game of Thrones

Emilia Clarke who appeared for the role as Daenerys Targaryen in Game of Thrones has appeared for all eight seasons of the series. 

For the readers who aren’t aware, the Last Christmas star didn’t only portray for Game of Thrones, but infact she is also among the chosen actress who has been in the Hollywood industry since her young page. 

The Marvel’s Secret Invasion star was into the world of acting at a young age where she used to spend most of her time working in the sets of Game of Thrones franchise by HBO.

Even though the Above Suspicion star is popular and successful today, but for this success she had to compromise on her childhood and dedicate it to shoot for the series.

“There were times when I was really sad on that show, just simply because I was a young woman in her 20s. All of that happening while Game of Thrones was happening, it sometimes could be very confusing,” shared the actress referring to her father’s death, two aneurysms she had on the set, and the sudden fame shower.

Clarke shared that she was just 22 years old when she got a chance to cast for HBO’s Game of Thrones. After she got into the series, the next decade was spent working on the sets.

“It’s not a shabby role to be associated with! Daenerys, I hope, is associated with a certain caliber of work, so lucky me that that’s the case. As long as people don’t ask me about nudity,” joked Clarke.

The Terminator Genisys star shared that she feels quite fortunate to get a chance to work as Daenerys for the decade-lasting franchise.

Not only in IMDb, infact the TV series has gained a good rating via Rotten Tomatoes rating where the average rating is around 85%.
