“It was literally lovemaking”: Camila Cabello Makes a Heartfelt Confession About Her Personal Life But Fans Are Concerned About the Massive Age-Gap

Cabello’s relationship with American singer Shawn Mendes attracted huge media attention. However, that is not the relationship that has got people talking right now as the singer recently opened up about her relationship with the British dating coach and writer Matthew Hussey.

Camila Cabello first gained public attention as a member of Fifth Harmony, one of the best-selling girl bands of all time. The band was widely known for songs like Sledgehammer, Work from Home, and All in My Head (Flex).
Despite this success, Cabello began working on her career as a solo artist while she was still in the band and released collaborative singles like I Know What You Did Last Summer and Bad Things, and she left the band in late 2016.
In February 2018, she reportedly began dating Hussey after they met on the TODAY show. Over a year later, PEOPLE reported that the couple had separated. The now 36-year-old YouTube personality seems to have left a permanent mark on the My Oh My singer.
In the latest episode of Dax Shepard’s Armchair Expert podcast, Cabello recalled that this was her first relationship.
That was my first relationship. It was late for my first time. I was like, ‘Oh my God. I’ve never had a boyfriend. There was, like, literally eight songs that were, like, basically, lonely. I am so lonely.
When asked if she had ever had s*x before getting into the relationship with Hussey, she said:
No. That was my first time having sex. First lovemaking was at 20, 21. … It was literally lovemaking. It was beautiful.
Cabello also claimed that Hussey’s experience as a relationship coach helped him in being a good partner to her. While the award-winning singer had nothing but good things to say about her first boyfriend, fans are not very sure that this was a healthy relationship since there was a massive age gap between the two.
Fans Are Concerned About the Huge Age Gap Between Camila Cabello and Her Ex-Boyfriend
Cabello told Shepard that she loved podcasts and was a fan of Hussey’s podcast when they first met. She admitted that when she met the author on the TODAY show, she told him as much and they went out for dinner later.
While she seemed completely at ease discussing her relationship with Hussey, fans are not exactly happy about this as many of them expressed their concern over their age gap.

With Cabello around 20-21 years old and Hussey nearly 10 years older at the time of their relationship, fans’ concern is understandable. Some fans also commented that they were better off not knowing such a personal detail about the singer’s life while others claimed that it is nice to know she had a good experience.
