After several controversies over Chris Brown, someone finally takes a stand for him. The American Idol season 6 winner Jordin Sparks joins Kelly Rowland in support of Chris Brown. The Look At Me Now star has been accused of sexual assaults several times. He abused his ex-girlfriend Rihanna in 2006. Later he was allegedly accused of a r*pe but Brown denied it. After soo many allegations, his reputation has turned down to ashes.

In support of Brown and his career, Jordin Sparks and Kelly Rowland stand together. Sparks and Brown have been friends for more than a decade. The American Idol winner claims that everyone deserves a second chance to grow, and so does Chris Brown. She thanks Brown for making such great music and appreciates his work.

Jordin Sparks says Chris Brown deserves a second chance

In an interview with TMZ on Tuesday, the N0 Air singer said that Chris Brown should have shown his presence in the AMAs. He won the 2022 American Music Award for Best R&B Male Artist. She says that people love Brown and they should recognize his talent too. The industry needs to move on from his past actions and should give him another chance.

People deserve to be able to grow and learn and be able to live their life without things hanging over them. Everybody deserves that … him especially.”

Sparks says that AMAs should not have canceled his tribute to Michael Jackson that evening. Brown’s showcase was canceled at the very last moment and it was very disappointing. In the same event, Brown was awarded the trophy for Favourite Male R&B Artist on Sunday. In response to this, the audience opposed with negative cheers for him. Kelly Rowland was present at the moment to receive the award in his honor. To this reaction of the audience, Rowland replied, “Excuse me, chill out.”

She then proceeded to admire the singer and his talent. “Chris, thank you so much for making great R&B music, I’ll take this award [and] bring it to you. I love you.” Rowland also spoke in defense of the Under The Influence singer to TMZ. She said that before pointing out fingers at others we should be thankful for every moment we have got. We all have so many problems, yet we choose to stand up for ourselves. It’s not necessary to pick on others every time.

The Under The Influence star has been in controversies several times and is often criticized. The singer has a violent history that the media and industry have not yet forgotten. He assaulted his then-girlfriend Rihanna in 2009. This incident took place a night before the Grammys in their Lamborghini. Brown was sentenced to five years probation, one year of domestic counseling, and six months of community service. In 2017, Karrueche Tran, his ex-girlfriend filed a complaint against him for punching her in the stomach.

Things didn’t stop there, as in 2020 he was accused of drugging and r*ping a woman. The singer denied the accusation. He was later also accused of hitting a woman in 2021. But after the investigation, there weren’t enough shreds of evidence, which led to him being proven innocent.
