“It’s hard for us”: Tom Brady Might be Forced to Retire Again After Choosing His NFL Career Over Gisele Bündchen
Tom Brady’s NFL career has been through ups and downs with a rather high win-to-loss record which made him the ‘winningest quarterback’ in NFL history. However, leading the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in 2020 didn’t seem quite fruitful for Brady. The loss of the Buccaneers to the Los Angeles Rams in February 2022, made it their third loss in a row. Brady’s reason for losing the NFL’s first repeat Super Bowl was later found to be his broken marriage.
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback had almost decided to retire back then, however, it seems that history might be repeating itself in Brady’s case. After being eliminated by the Dallas Cowboys, it seems the 45-year-old might be forced to retire.
Tom Brady decided to retire only to reverse his idea
Tom Brady along with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers was set to achieve their goal of winning over the Los Angeles Rams. However, the player seemed to have a lot going on in his mind with his divorce conversation and a broken marriage.
Brady was happily married to Gisele Bündchen for 13 years, until October 2022 when the NFL quarterback and his supermodel wife made an announcement “Tom and I have amicably finalized our divorce”.
Bündchen was concerned about Brady’s health since the player kept getting head injuries leading to concussions, which might cause problems in the future, as the couple was growing old. However, Tom Brady being less concerned about his health and more about winning, chose his NFL career over his marriage.
Brady although took the decision of retiring, changed his mind after separation from his wife, to come back and generate momentum in his team.

Tom Brady might be forced to retire after his loss to the Cowboys
Last time, after Tampa Bay Buccaneers lost to Los Angeles Rams, Tom Brady took a decision to retire, reversed it, and gave his career another shot. Nevertheless, after qualifying for the playoffs in 2022, the Buccaneers lost to the Dallas Cowboys in the Super Wild Card Weekend.
Despite never losing seven of his previous faceoff with the Cowboys, the Buccaneers quarterback lost his chance against the opponent quarterback Dak Prescott who dominated the field in his 2022 playoffs.
With Brady’s loss against the Cowboys, his NFL career’s future seems highly unlikely. After voluntarily retiring and reversing his decision last time due to the ups and downs in his personal life might have served as an excuse. Anyhow this time, his loss seems a bit odd, and thus arises the major uncertainty of whether he should return or retire for the 24th season.
