Recently, Gomez is being called out for having been under the knife. The changes in her appearance and face have not been missed by her fans. As it seems, many aren’t pleased with the singer’s attachment to Benny Blanco, who is believed to have thrown some shade on the Calm Down singer back in 2020.
Gomez was getting called out for this whilst getting hate about having had a cosmetic procedure. A fan wrote on Instagram (via Female First UK): “Remove your cheek fillers/implants. It’s messing with your brain.”
Fans are concerned that the former Disney star’s decision to date Blanco, who is friends with Gomez’s ex Justin Bieber, might be the wrong one.
Selena Gomez’s Response to Cosmetic Procedure Allegations
Gomez has always been pretty vocal about the pressures of being a woman in the spotlight. The need to look a certain way while she was struggling with things both mentally and physically has not been easy to deal with. Her changed appearances have largely been due to Lupus, an autoimmune lifelong disease. Having been through different versions of body shaming on social media for the same, Gomez is not letting things go unanswered anymore.
She defended her relationship with Blanco and replied to the aforementioned comment by a fan saying: “Hahahaha I’ve had Botox bb girl.”
This is the first time the singer has shared of having had some cosmetic procedure done. She mentioned Botox but fans continue to speculate. Moreover, many wait to see what becomes of her relationship with Blanco.
