“It’s so violent”: Marvel Star Chris Hemsworth Accused by Fans of ‘Abusive’ Behavior After Violent Prank on Son’s Birthday
Chris Hemsworth is one of the highest-paid actors in the entertainment industry, which is majorly credited to his portrayal of the mighty God of Thunder, Thor in the Marvel franchise. Though his professional career is on hold for now after discovering his genetic predisposition for Alzheimer’s disease while filming Limitless, he is being called out for a personal reason.
The actor is a father to three kids, daughter India Rose Hemsworth and twin boys Sasha Hemsworth and Tristan Hemsworth whom he shares with Elsa Pataky. The power couple who got married in 2010 is being called out after they pulled out a prank on their twins’ birthday which is being deemed “violent” by the fans.
Chris Hemsworth and Elsa Pataky Pulled a Prank on Their Son
The 39-year-old actor, Chris Hemsworth, and his Spanish wife, Elsa Pataky pulled a rather “violent” prank on their son. The 2014-born twin boys celebrated their 9th birthday this Saturday.
To commemorate their special day, the former shared a small family moment on his Instagram along with a photo of his brood in which the mother of three was seen holding her son’s head down in the chocolate cake. Meanwhile, the former along with the other two kids were giggling over the prank.
With the mischievous snap, the Marvel actor wrote,
‘Happy 9th birthday to my two little men! Only one way to eat cake in this house and that’s to have mum slam your head into it face first!! “Hey mum I don’t like chocolate cake I prefer vanilla” “oh really son, what about now”?’
While this moment seemed to be a happy occasion for the family of five, fans shared mixed reactions on the same.
The Power Couple is Being Slammed for Their Prank

Though the influential couple had amused the kids with their small prank, fans are taking it seriously. Many fans shared their opinions in the comments section of the post with one writing,
“Why people smash their kids face in the cake is above my understanding but whatever.”
Another shared in Spanish translated as.
“I don’t find this funny. It’s almost violent.. hit, push, dirt, put down…”
A third chimed in stating,
“Stop it stop shoving his face in the mud!”
Another wrote,
“In my country [this is] done, but it’s very poorly [looked upon] because several accidents have already happened.”
Though the pair is yet to address the chaos happening in the comments section of his social media account, the Australian star is currently taking a break from acting after learning he has a genetic predisposition to Alzheimer’s disease. It is a common form of dementia that can cause memory issues, confusion, and even can lead to communication problems. He has two copies of the gene ApoE4 which means he is at high risk of developing the disease than those who don’t have both copies of the gene. He has already announced taking “some time off” and is focusing on tackling the issue which may arise in the future.
