‘It’s weird that he hates me’: Canceled Deadpool 1 Star T.J. Miller Refuses to Work With Ryan Reynolds in Deadpool 3, Says Things Changed After Reynolds Became ‘Super Famous’
As we all know that the teaser of Deadpool 3 has been released, and the fans of Deadpool are very much excited about the movie. But some things are not going well between the cast of Deadpool. There is a very important character in both the previous movies which we won’t be seeing in this one.
T.J Miller who has played one of the most important characters in the previous two Deadpool movies will not be in the third movie. The actor confirmed that he is not in Deadpool 3. The reason he gave was that he thinks that Ryan Reynolds hates him.
What did T.J Miller say on the Adam Carolla show?
Miller was invited on The Adam Carolla Show, where he started telling a story of the day when they were filming Deadpool. He said that shooting the movie was not a good experience for him. He also recalled a day when he and the Deadpool star were doing a scene in the Weasel’s Bar. He said,
“As the character, he was, like, horrifically mean to me. But to me. As if I’m Weasel,”. He also said,” He was like,’ You know what’s great about you, Weasel? You’re not the star, but you do just enough exposition that it’s funny and then we can leave and get back to the real movie.”
Why Ryan Reynolds Hates TJ Miller?
In the show, Adam Carolla asked him why Ryan Reynolds hates him, and he also asked if he told any other actor about the event. The answer to this question was “NO”. He said that from now onwards he doesn’t want to work with Reynolds again. T.J Miller also proved his point by comparing his work with other co-stars such as Michael Bay. He said:
“But I think after he got super, super famous from the first Deadpool, things kind of changed. I don’t know, would I work with him again? No. I would not work with him again. But I’ve said that about Michael Bay and now we’re friends and I would work with him again. But I think Michael Bay is different.”
He continued “Michael Bay also worked on a movie with Ryan Reynolds, so he has a very specific opinion of Ryan Reynolds and that was a good part of our conversation.”
As we don’t know much about Deadpool 3, so we can’t say whether Miller would be a part of that movie or not. He also told Carolla that even if they offered him more amount of money, he wouldn’t accept it. For now one can enjoy the hilarious banter between Wade and Weasel in the first two Deadpool movies, available for streaming on Disney+.

The audiences of Deadpool have been waiting for a long time for the entrance of Deadpool in the MCU. Deadpool 3 will be available to Marvel and Deadpool fans on 6th September 2024.
