‘I’ve been taking notes during this trial’: Aspiring Lawyer Kim Kardashian Calls Blac Chyna Lawsuit That Could Destroy Her $5M Career as ‘The best law school you could imagine’
Kim Kardashian is your most unexpected lawyer on the block, and she makes it a point to make the pursuit known every chance she gets. The mother of 4 made headlines months ago when she said that the reason she wanted to become a lawyer was for the safety and well-being of her kids. According to the billionaire, her children are at a greater risk of social injustice because they are black, so she wants to prepare herself better to protect them. With her money and resources, one would think it would’ve been better if she just hires a lawyer.
Recently the SKIMS owner revealed how she used a defamation case against herself and her family as a practical learning experience.
Kim Kardashian calls Blac Chyna’s defamation case a learning experience
The latest episode of Hulu’s The Kardashians showed Kim Kardashian discussing Blac Chyna’s defamation lawsuit against her, Kris Jenner, Kylie Jenner, and Khloe Kardashian. Blac Chyna used to date Rob Kardashian and the two even share a daughter. The case filed against the Kardashians insinuated that they interfered in a contract thus obstructing the airing of a second season of the reality TV show, Rob & Chyna.
The SKKN founder claimed that she sought real law school training from Chyna’s lawsuit against her family. To be in court for the closing arguments of the case, she even abandoned her Met Gala 2022 workout routine. That is some sacrifice when we have seen the results she was doing it for.
“The best law school you could imagine”
The episode in question here was recorded after the beauty mogul had passed her Baby Bar exam. She explained the whole process for her and how it was even better than actually taking notes in a real law school.
“I need to be there, obviously as a defendant of the case, but also as an aspiring attorney. I need to see the closing arguments and see how they piece it all together. This is the first real trial that I’ve seen, which is the best law school you could imagine. I’ve been taking notes during this trial. It was so interesting to see that you have to follow the proper process in order to get evidence submitted.”
The Kardashians obviously won the trial against Blac Chyna and that added to the experience being enthralling for the aspiring law student. She further said,
“It’s definitely really scary. I’ve never really been through a full trial where I’m up for something. It’s just so interesting to be living it and learning it all at the same time. There’s not a chance I’m missing this. This is what I live for.”
Kim K was once asked by her daughter, North West, why she was famous and her reply was, “Mommy… has so many talents, I can’t even begin to name them.” Looks like soon, ‘lawyer’ is going to be a term on that infamous list of Kim’s “talents”.
