Jennifer Lopez Might Not be Willing to Sacrifice Millions of Dollars of Business For Ben Affleck
In her latest entrepreneurial venture, Jennifer Lopez has started an alcohol line named The House of Delola LCC. Given her husband, Ben Affleck has a history of alcohol addiction, the business has been getting bad press. Stories of her and Affleck’s marital struggles often make rounds in the news. Considering this, this business is not shedding a good light on their relationship.
However, JLo was quick to damage control and contrive the matter to her advantage by clarifying some things.
Jennifer Lopez Launches Ready-to-Drink Cocktail Line
Delola as Jennifer Lopez explained stems from a nickname her family calls her i.e. Lola; which Lopez explained is the “fun side of who I am.” She spoke on the process of creating Delola.
“I’m not a huge alcohol whatever-alcohol drinker, so it needed to be something that was really pleasant tasting, I loved the idea of creating something a little more healthy, a little bit more to my taste with kind of healthier ingredients and being gluten-free.”
JLo doesn’t drink. An alcohol line from her is quite an unexpected endeavor. She does stick to her previous statement of not being inclined to drink. Yet says that she enjoys an “occasional cocktail here and there” as success has allowed her to be “less of a workaholic and enjoy life a little bit more.”
The business debuted with three cocktails that are gluten-free and have a low-calorie count while still being delicious. There’s good potential in this business.

Through sources and insiders, Jennifer Lopez has been getting a reputation as a controlling wife who has little to no regard for her spouse. While these rumors are to be taken with a grain of salt due to their sources being anonymous and lacking credibility, the matter with Delola has truth to it.
Ben Affleck has been open about his family history and personal struggles with alcoholism in the past. He has taken help and been to rehab thrice. But a relapse episode was a very public affair on Halloween that same year. His sobriety has been in question.
In such circumstances, a project like Delola from his wife fuels the rumors questioning their marriage.

Jennifer Lopez was quick to shush the rumors of her disregard for her husband. She revealed that the Delola cocktail bottles have a symbol embossed on them which has a Bronx seal, where JLo hails from, and two lions. She said:
“I’m a Leo. On the actual bottle, I put two lions — Ben and I are both Leos — like a male and a female lion, It’s very personalized, really authentic to me and what I love.”
She also clarified in a video on her Instagram that she is a responsible drinker. Telling her viewers that her drinking habits are very in line. She never drinks “to get s***faced.”
The explanations calmed fans but some are still skeptical. It remains to be seen how the last decade’s it couple face the challenge of matrimony.
