Jonathan Majors Joined Yale University After Googling “Best drama school for grown-ups”
Jonathan Majors currently portraying the role of Kang the Conqueror in the MCU, is captivating his audience with his screen presence. Claiming the attention of critics and fans, Majors becomes one of the well-known faces in Hollywood to watch out for in 2023. After catapulting himself in the Marvel Cinematic Universe with his role in Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania, Majors score the reputation of Hollywood’s leading actors.
Jonathan Majors claims quite the attention, in the wake of his success, however, his struggle and passion for acting are what played a significant role. Considering acting as the only thing that hasn’t “abandoned” him, Majors discusses his initial years as an actor.
Jonathan Majors’ Introduction To Acting
Claiming a considerable position in Hollywood with his enigmatic acting skills, Jonathan Majors discusses his passion for acting. Sitting for an interview with NPR Majors claimed, acting is the only thing that never “abandoned” him. Born in 1989, the Creed III actor recalled his life as a military brat. With a difficult childhood and struggling to find a place for himself, Majors opened up about being arrested for shoplifting.
The Yale School of Drama alum didn’t always have an easy and comforting life. Discussing his struggles Majors mentioned immersing himself in the field of acting. With 2023, being a great year for Majors, the 33-year-old calls acting his source of inspiration and motivation. Recalling how his introduction to acting came by force, mentioned acting is “the one thing that’s never abandoned me.” Finding himself supported by his lessons, the actor ended up in the theatre.

Jonathan Majors’ Inception As An Actor
Struggling to find a suitable career for himself, and failing to keep up with his passion, Jonathan Majors decided to pursue acting. After engaging in high school issues, Majors recalled Googling drama schools. “One thing led to another, and then that led to me googling one night, ‘what is the best drama school for grown-ups?’” Pursuing his career in acting after graduating from one of the well-known universities, his Majors catapulted him to fame.
“The usual suspects came up. Yale (University) was one of them and it’s been the hustle ever since.” Majors proceeded further with his inception as an actor. Making his first appearance with the drama film Hostiles in 2017, Majors went on to land roles in television and film projects. Getting his big break in 2019 through an Indie feature film, The Last Black Man in San Francisco, the actor started getting recognized for his work.
Catapulting himself to fame, Majors landed three consecutive big roles in 2023. Creed III, Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania, and Magazine Dreams are a few of his major roles this year. Taking his acting career seriously, Jonathan Majors even promises to captivate his fans with his role in MCU as Kang the Conqueror.
