Karl Urban is a star who has hit movies like Star Trek and more. His appearance in the role of Skurge in MCU’s Thor: Ragnarok left the fans with the question, why he has appeared for such a minor role.

Even though it’s a minor role, the star has managed to make the character pretty damn cool specifically when he was seen with M16s.

“I got a call from Taika saying ‘Listen, I’m shooting this movie, there’s great role in it. Have a look at it. I’ll send you some concept art of the character.’ Which looked rad, shaved head, armor. I read the script and saw that there was quite a fantastic arc for the character and I really responded to that. That he was really a survivalist, that he started his journey in one place and then had to do a deal with the devil and the cost of that was, and then how he really came back at the end and ended up doing the right thing morally, which was a fantastic little arc.”

The star shared that the main reason why he agreed to play the role was because of Waititi’s way of explaining his role in the movie.

Fans are left with a question on his arrival to a new MCU movie, recently there was a clip showing Urban as Wolverine. It was just a rumor but the star did respond to the rumor where he shared,

Oh really? It’s flattering, but you have to rationally think about it. I’m what, two years younger than Hugh Jackman? [It is closer to four years.] I mean, if I was a studio looking to cast someone as Wolverine, I’d pick someone I’ll get three films out of. You’re not going to get three films out of Karl Urban unless you want a 65-year-old Wolverine.

The Loft star looked quite thrilled while having a conversation about the possibility to play as Wolverine. However, he doesn’t assure that he might be getting a chance to replace Hugh Jackman for Wolverine. We will let you know as soon as we get an official update about it.
