“Kate was the mastermind”: Kate Middleton Reportedly Planning to Permanently Banish Meghan Markle from the UK
The British royal family drama just does not seem to simmer down ever. Since Prince Harry and Meghan Markle parted ways with their family, one story has followed another. In the past few months, the talk has been centered around King Charles ll’s coronation and whether estranged Sussexes will be present at the event or not. As it turned out they did get invited however it was only the Duke of Sussex that made an appearance.
Markle remained in the US with her two children. With that, it has recently come to light that her sister-in-law Kate Middleton was reportedly the one behind Markle’s absence. The two Duchess has a history of not getting along with each other nicely since the beginning. And now the recent report seems to suggest the same.
Kate Middleton Reportedly Behind Meghan Markle’s Absence at Coronation Day
Apart from the drama between and estrangement between the Sussexes and the British royal family, there is one that exists between Meghan Markle and Kate Middleton. Both of them have joined the family from outside but instead of this being a source of connection, these two duchesses have never got along well. This has been shared by both Markle and Prince Harry in their docuseries Harry & Meghan as well as the latter’s memoir Spare.
And even after many years, the Princess of Wales seems to have the same amount of dislike for her sister-in-law. By now it is common knowledge that the Suits star did not attend the coronation day of King Charles III recently.
Although both of them were invited, Prince Harry made an appearance alone back in his home country while Markle stayed back in the US with their two kids. Following this, it has come to light that her absence might have been all due to Middleton. As per Radar Online, a palace courtier shared,
“It’s becoming increasingly apparent Kate was the mastermind behind Harry’s solo appearance at the coronation,”
Moreover, according to other reports, it seems that the Duchess of Cambridge blames her sister-in-law for ruining Prince Harry’s relationship with his family. And apart from planning her absence, Middleton seemingly wants to banish Markle from the UK altogether according to the publication’s report. As for now, only time can tell what might go down eventually between them.

Even though Kate Middleton and Meghan Markle have a lot in common in terms of their relationship with the royal family, the pair have not been able to get along with each other. As Markle revealed via the Netflix docuseries Harry & Meghan, from the first time they met things did not go smoothly between them.
Furthermore, even Prince Harry opened up in his memoir Spare, about an incident where he saw Middleton make a face when her sister-in-law had asked for a lip gloss from her.
Seemingly, Middleton takes the directness of Markle as impolite. Although this has got a lot to do with the cultural differences bit as royals, Markle’s attitude is not up her sister-in-law’s alley.
