Another host of Live! is all set to leave while Kelly Ripa is still going strong. Kelly Ripa and Ryan Seacrest have always come across as good friends. However, it seems like that was not the case when it came to their professional lives. On the Thursday broadcast of Live! With Kelly and Ryan, Seacrest announced his departure from the show. He furthermore disclosed that now Ripa’s husband, Mark Consuelos will be joining Live! as a permanent co-host.

The news of Ryan Seacrest’s departure and Mark Consuelos was not taken too well by the internet. Many people are allegedly blaming Kelly Ripa for his departure as this is not the first time that a co-host has left the show while she still remains on the show.

Ryan Seacrest announced his departure from Live! With Kelly and Ryan

On the Thursday broadcast of Live! With Kelly and Ryan, Seacrest announced his departure from the show. It was first announced in 2017 that Ryan Seacrest would be joining Live! and was named a replacement to Michael Strahan. After serving as the co-host of Live! for almost 5 years, Seacrest decided to leave the show and had kind words for his co-host, Kelly Ripa. He said, “Working alongside Kelly over the past six years has been a dream job and one of the highlights of my career. She has been an amazing partner, friend, and confidant.” He further added, “although we will always be a part of each other’s lives, I will miss our mornings together.”

Ripa also appreciated working with Ryan Seacrest for so many years. She said, “I’m so grateful to have spent the last six years beside my dear friend of too many decades to count and will miss starting my days with Ryan.” Seacrest furthermore thanked the executive producer of the show and the crew for their constant love and support.

Twitter blasted Kelly Ripa for always having trouble with her co-hosts

This ain’t the first time that a co-host has announced their departure while Kelly Ripa has remained constant on the show. Ripa also allegedly had trouble with Regis Philbin when he left the show. Although it was later reported that Philbin left the show because of his age, Ripa informed in her memoir that she had some problems with her former co-host. Michael Strahan also announced his departure from the show back in 2016. Ripa was absent from that day’s broadcast hinting at some tension between her and Strahan.

On Thursday’s episode, it was also announced that Mark Consuelos will now be a permanent co-host of Live! And this news was not taken well by the fans. Many fans blasted Kelly Ripa for always running in trouble with her co-host. One fan took it to Twitter and wrote, “Kelly is the problem.”

One fan even wrote that they would quit watching Live! now that Seacrest announced his departure.

Another fan took a shot at Ripa and Philbin’s relationship after the show and wondered if she would now speak to Seacrest now that he has left the show. For the unversed, Ripa allegedly stopped talking to Regis Philbin after his exit from the show.

No matter what happens, but Live! will not be the same anymore. Fans are also not too thrilled with Mark Consuelos joining as a permanent co-host of the show.
