As you sow, so shall you reap. After almost ten years of defrauding thousands of people, it seems like karma finally caught up with Jen Shah. The former American television personality has been in the headlines a lot since last year. Shah allegedly committed wire fraud and a telemarketing scam for almost ten years and was arrested in 2021. Last year in June, she was sentenced to 6.5 years in prison for her crimes after she pleaded guilty to the same.
Jen Shah allegedly celebrated her reduced prison sentence at a lavish New York-based restaurant last month. However, according to sources, Shah’s prison meals would be nothing like the meals she is used to. A source recently reported that would be having fish tacos for lunch.
Jen Shah’s meal schedule for the first day of her prison life
Jen Shah turned herself into prison on Friday and therefore began her long prison life of 6.5 years. RadarOnline has reported what the former Real Housewives of Salt Lake City star would be having in meals on her first day of prison throughout the day. A rep of the all-female Texas prison facility has opened up about what Shah would get on her first day of prison. According to the rep, Shah will be “handed breakfast in a brown bag, which will include an individual oatmeal packet, one breakfast cake, and fruit.”
However, it’s her lunch that has drawn the most attention. According to sources, Jen Shah will get a breaded fish taco along with some sides for lunch. If for some reason, she is unable to consume the fish tacos, Jen Shah will be offered an alternate meal. She will be alternately offered baked fish and hummus.

Last month, Jen Shah celebrated her reduced prison sentence at a lavish northern Italian restaurant in New York, Valbella. She was accompanied by a security guard and two people who prevented anyone from taking photos. Although, the details of her meal remain a mystery, considering the restaurant it would have been a delicious Italian meal. However, her meals at the prison would be nothing like the New York-based restaurant. It was recently reported that for dinner, Shah will receive, a “chicken cheese steak sandwich or three-bean salad. She’ll also get a side of Italian pasta salad and carrots.”
The former American TV personality accepted her crimes and pleaded guilty to having committed wire fraud back in June last year. Shah has also promised to raise $6.5 million in restitution to compensate her victims.
