Kelly Ripa Leaving $120M ‘Live’ Career for Skincare Product Line Rumor Debunked
Back in February, there was a rumor circling about Kelly Ripa finally quitting her ABC talk show Live! for another business. An ad explaining the alleged skincare line that Ripa was about to venture into was released. It mentioned a product named Juvil Hydrating Face Cream had already witnessed a successful launch.
However, the questionable ad alleged that her decision did not sit right with ABC and that had led to a rift between them. But after more than a month recently it has come to light that the rumors are untrue. The talk show host never talked about leaving the show and a proper look at the ad has revealed tons of fake information.
Kelly Ripa Leaving Live! Rumor Has Been Debunked
A rumor surfaced about ABC and Kelly Ripa’s alleged disagreements via an ad that has been debunked recently. The ad which was released back in February alleged that Ripa was looking forward to working on her skincare line. It also alleged that ABC had been furious at her due to endorsing products that competed with their sponsor.
Therefore so it happened the rumor that the talk show host was leaving her show. But all that has been said to be false according to the online news website Snopes. A further look into the ad brought you much incorrect and false information.
For one, Ripa has never admitted to endorsing all the profits mentioned in the ad. Moreover, one of the celebrities used in the ad Barbara Walters passed away last year. So posting an ad with her face seems careless enough for it to be fake.
Not only these, but the provided website also appears fake and unauthentic. And so taking all of these into account the publication has called the ad a “fake”. And with that the rumor that Ripa was leaving Live! has also been debunked.

Currently, long-time talk show host Kelly Ripa is still working as the host of ABC’s Live with Kelly and Ryan/ Live! This will be her entry into the third decade of hosting the show. She started the show in 2001 as a co-host to Regis Philbin. After his exit, Ripa has taken the show further mostly by herself. In between, she has had news co-hosts such as Michae Strahan who was let go after two years, and Ryan Seacrest.
Seacrest has also left the show to host American Idol this year. And in his place, Ripa’s husband Mark Consuelos has taken the co-host position. The show title has been rebranded to Live with Kelly and Mark.
