Kim Kardashian has often been brought into question for her fashion choices, especially ever since her separation from her rapper/fashion designer husband, Kanye West. Fans always claimed that it was the Yeezy founder who always styled Kim and ever since she left him, her sense of style has gone astray as well. On multiple occasions, people brought her looks into question, accusing her of either trying too hard or not hard enough. Well, this time it’s the latter, as it seems like the SKIMS founder put on the first thing she found lying to attend Kathy Hilton’s Christmas party.
Kim Kardashian goes goth for Christmas
Paris Hilton’s mother Kathy Hilton recently hosted a gracious Christmas dinner party at her place with a hoard of A-listers on the guest list. And it was indeed quite an event. Kim Kardashian and Kris Jenner made sure to visit and have a good time at The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star’s party. Except that the SKKN owner didn’t quite fit.
It being a Christmas party, everyone decided to don their red and sparkly outfits for the occasion. But not Kim. She took an entirely different turn and dressed goth.
She wore a dark graphic t-shirt cropped up with high-waist leather pants and diamond jewelry. Even Kris Jenner ditched the usual red for a black suit but at least she wore an elegant suit. Kim just wore a teenager’s guide to grunge.
Does Kim Kardashian need a fashion intervention?
The Paris in Love star took to Instagram to share a picture from the celebration with her mother, sister – Nicky Hilton Rothschild, Kris Jenner, and Kim K. And while everyone looks like a delight, Kathy Hilton even flaunting a bow on her dress, Kardashian’s look didn’t sit well with the fans. The beauty mogul has since been brutally trolled for her weird choice of outfit.
One of the fans commented on The Simple Life star’s post, “Everyone dressed all nice and Kim looks like a 15YO teen that was forced between a hoard and easy her parents party”.
While one asked, “Did Kim not understand the holiday party attire assignment?” another one indirectly answered, “didn’t get the dress code memo”.
Yet another fan wrote, “I guess Kim Kim’s dressed for Halloween while everyone else is dressed elegantly for a Christmas party”.
There were several more comments about how ludicrously casual her outfit is, “Did u tell Kim its holiday pics cause she looking like friday nite at bar.”
And another fan accused the mother of 4 of simply hoarding attention,
“Lmao why is Kim always trying to overshadow people around her when being photographed? So pathetic and desperate nobody cares when Paris is around.”
Kardashian also attended her nephew Mason Disick’s bar mitzvah the same day without a change of clothes. It’s hard to tell which occasion did she choose the outfit for, but it sure didn’t get her many praises.
