The duo that walked the carpet and turned quite a few heads in the year prior to the current one, kept up the ‘heading-turning’ streak, as the picture of them hanging out, set the internet on fire, as soon as it was brought to the light.

Turns out Kim Kardashian and Pete Davidson met and had a gala time at the 2023 Met Gala. Just 9 months after breaking things off amicably the pair were seen giggling inside the glamourous party.  Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City on Monday night witnessed many iconic moments including this one. The highly anticipated high-fashion event already had many eyeballs watching, little moments like these are what the fans call bonuses. The two ill-fated lovers were seen talking and having a great time with the musical legend Usher.

The two celebrities dressed for the occasion in the theme, “Karl Lagerfeld: A Line of Beauty” and looked polar opposites. The business mogul and hit reality TV star, opted for a custom Schiaparelli dress by Daniel Roseberry and recreated a blast from the past. She glimmered in 50,000 freshwater pearls and 16,000 crystal pearls draped skirt, which many assumed was an homage to her 2007 Playboy cover. While the Saturday Night Live alum kept it casual as usual with a Fendi T-shirt, paired with leather pants, and a trench coat to complete the look. All in all the ex-pair looked magnificent while chit-chatting and the fans are obsessed.

Is Kim Kardashian still not over Pete Davidson?

The Met has always been very special for the former couple since this was where the duo first locked eyes. Although the ex-couple reportedly hit it off backstage of the SNL, the Met is where the star-crossed lovers took notice of one another. In an episode Not Skinny But Not Fat podcast, the SKIMS owner revealed,

“He had been asking around for my number a little bit,—I saw him at the Met and he knew I was hosting SNL, but it wasn’t announced yet. He came up to me and we were talking about SNL.”

The following year the two walked hand in hand on the very famous carpet, this moment which was also documented on The Kardashians revealed the stars recalling their fateful night. Davidson claimed,

“Remember when I asked for your number at the last Met and you pretended that you couldn’t give it to me because you had gloves on?”

To which Kim Kardashian replied,

“I know. Will you ask me again this time? I don’t have gloves on.”

Therefore, coming back to the very exact place must have been very tough for Kim Kardashian and Pete Davidson. Despite, the rumors of Kardashian not getting over the famous comedian, she looked pretty strong and carried herself with much grace in front of her former lover. Although the romance is no more, fans found that the two continue to share a ton of love and respect for one another.
