The couple sparked dating rumors after they were spotted having dinner with several friends at Nobu Malibu. Later the 38-year-old singer broke off her engagement with Mod Sun while he was still on his music tour.
Sources also said that their split has nothing to do with a third party and claimed that Tyga and Lavigne are just good friends. However, both of them confirmed their romance during the Mugler x Hunter Schafer Party at Paris Fashion Week.

The American rapper opted for a black t-shirt with an oversized grey jacket and trousers. The couple held hands as they walked into the party and shared kisses in front of lots of people.
This comes contrary to the earlier reports, where sources claimed that Tyga and Avril Lavigne are just friends, and the rapper allegedly has nothing to do with Lavigne and Sun’s split. As Avril Lavigne moves on with the rapper, Mod Sun is reportedly left heartbroken with his breakup.

Mod Sun Felt Blindsided By His Break Up
The Flames singer, Mod Sun, is reportedly heartbroken as Avril Lavigne called it quits while he was still on his tour. His representatives told Page Six that they “were together and engaged as of three days ago when he left for tour.” The singer also expressed his feelings on Instagram as he shared that his life completely changed within a week.
“In 1 week my entire life completely changed. I just know there’s a plan for it all. I’ll keep my head up + always listen to my heart, even when it feels broken.”
He also thanked his fans and friends for their support during his breakup and how being on his tour has turned out to be possibly a good thing during this time. He said, “Being surrounded by love every night on tour has been an absolute blessing.”
The couple was spotted catching up with other stars at a pre-Grammys party just weeks ago. Insiders claimed that the couple had been involved in an on-again-off-again relationship for months. And they finally decided to call it quits for good. After Lavigne and Tyga were spotted together, the sources denied any romantic links between the two.
